Love having this theater as an option. Otherwise we'd never go to movies with our sons - the prices of most movie tickets make it impossible to take a family out to the movies! Not with the Cinemark! I think that while the concessions seem high to me - it's not nearly as high as first run theaters. We buy the deal that they offer for $3 bucket of popcorn and $3 soda for a year ... LOVE it!

Also for the most part, we have had nothing but really great service from all of the staff. More pleasant than some of the AMC staff that I've dealt with.

I recommend it for anyone who likes a deal and isn't embarrassed to not see first run movies, but not for anyone who feels that real life of real people is below them!

I have never had a problem there. I always go to the 7:00 shows. AMC has high popcorn prices too! And their ticket prices stink. The theater is usually in great shape. I have had more talking problem people at the Hamilton 16. It is great that families can go there. When I see families at the movies they are just enjoying themselves. Don't sneak in food and drink. The staff salaries are probably afforded by the concession sales.

If people would clean up after they spill their popcorn and pop on the floor an in the seats, the theater wouldn't be so nasty.

With the economy the way it is, we are left with few other choices to see a "new release" movie in a theater. By the time a movie makes it to Movies 8, it is usually out on video too. But for some movies, the big screen is a must

Well, I have had a good experience with this theater, going during the day. But I would not recommend going to movies that get out late. Just a safety concern.

I went yesturday with my son, we had a mother son date. It was really nice. Popcorn good, drinks good, movie good. Place was a little old but clean. About thugs, I thought that was just teenagers that gives alot of hugs, and who couldnt use a hug? HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!!! Complainers on need to get a life.

Its hit or miss at this place...can not beat the pricing. It only takes 1 or 2 idiot jack asses to ruin it for the rest us no matter where you go. So yeah, catch a flick on a bad day when drunk parents dump there undisciplined little brats off to roam the premisis all day talking and playing their dsi's during the movie, and you might not come back. On a good day everybody minds their manners like human beings and you will show up again. Society to blame,,,not the management. Same everywhere.

OMG if u dont like the place dont go there- What do u expect? Its a cheap place to go and its great for people with kids- As far as loud rude people during the movie- hell i live in Castleton and have been to the AMC a few times and people there are loud and rude during the movie- I guess because Movies 8 is near the Washington Square Mall people have nothing better to do then talk negative about it- Stay home if u dont like it or pay 12.00 a ticket-

I don't understand why you few are complaining so much. This theater may not be terribly clean all of the time but it is a cheap movie. I have never been disgusted by anything I have seen so I feel like you may be exaggerating. My boyfriend and I go to the movies every Tuesday and I have never had any problems. Besides the ridiculous concessions, I love this place. You are all nit-picky and high strung.

For the person who wrote the statement before me, please no longer come to the theater. That way you will no longer have to deal with all the things that do not occur at that theater. I can not stand it when individuals take it among themselves to flat out lie.
I come with my family on Monday, when it is $0.50 and the popcorn plus a drink is $2.50 . You can not beat that price. I have never seen them run out of popcorn. I also go on Tuesday which is family night $0.75 . The entire family can watch a movie. I never had anyone talking at the screen or fight. I have never seen thugs walking in the theater. If you call families coming with their children to watch a family movie thugs, then you need your head checked.

Please, please...that is why we have so many options. Go where you feel safe, and where it is clean enough for you. Why don't we focus on something more meaningful. Offer tip for improvement and not so much criticism. I'm just saying...
