We've been going here for years!! It is a nice theater. It doesn't smell! We have never had to leave for any reason. The staff is very courteous. The movie may be a little older, but very little. The popcorn is always scrumptious, and you get free refills! We, too, hope that this theater will be in business for a long, long time!!! A great inexpensive place to go!!!!

I always have a great time at movies 8, prices are very cheap and food might be little pricey but you don't have to buy it, but it's not no where as high as other movies I've been to.and it's clean and very polite staff, my family goes there every weekend we need more movie 8 in different places in Indiana,WTG! Movies 8 keep up the gr8t job ! :-)

This place is so cool! I've been to this theater about 50 times. The tickets are so cheap. Usually $2 regular and $4 for 3D sometimes they are even lower if you go at an obscure time and sometimes a little higher but rarely over $2 for regular movies. I used to barely go to theaters because of how much the tickets are but here they are so nice and cheap. You can bring the whole family or a whole group of friends and it costs hardly anything. The staff is pretty nice. I actually have a friend that works there it's pretty cool. The place is kept clean and I like the look to it. It's definitely worth the money. The snacks are expensive but understand they have to do it to stay in business. Even with expensive snacks you're still saving and large popcorn get UNLIMITED refills. If the snacks are too much either eat before or after the movie or sneak something in. Seriously I sneak stuff in all the time and they don't notice and even if they did they wouldn't care. This place is awesome and I recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a cheap movie that comes out later then other theaters. I mean hey if you haven't seen it it's new to you. This place is so cool!

This place has always been great. Me and my wife go here all the time, we come here instead of getting a red box and only spend 4 dollars. Its a half hour away and its well worth the drive compared to spending 18-20 dollars on a movie for two. Ya the movies are a little behind but that's why they are in the cheap theatre.

I must agree with the other 5 star comments; this place is a cheap date for those who cannot or will not pay the Showplace 17 prices. If you do not like the prices of the popcorn then go to Mcdonalds first and get the $1 meal deal. Problem solved.

The 3D movies are only $4, and the ones I've seen were as good as the IMAX (which I think is overrated and 4x more expensive). Others may not agree, but watching resident evil 3D here was a great experience. The place is clean and affordable although like others are saying the concession stand is expensive. I don't see what all the bad reviews are about, I've never felt unsafe, thought the place was dirty or felt mistreated by anyone (including staff). I have no idea how they stay in business, many times when I go there are 5-10 people max in each theater.

Great theater for the prices. Would like to see a more frequent change- over of movies. I suggest showing older movie classics also. I go to this theater only 3 or 4 times a year, because the same movies run for so long.

I was there the day of the fire, and the staff was very respectful and quick to evacuate the building. They handed out rainchecks outside the doors as you were walking out. I also sat in the parking lot until almost every car had left the premises and watched the employees walking in the rain to each and every car ensuring that every one had received their rainchecks which were good until April 30, 2013 (3 months after the fire). I also watched 6-7 firetrucks come to the building and several firemen checking things out to make sure that everything was safe. If you truly did not receive your raincheck I ensure you it was no one's fault but your own. I am sure that if the fire had been very bad, you for sure would be grateful that your family was evacuated in a way that kept everyone calm and safe. I also ensure you that at the beginning of every year for $11.50 can get either a refillable cup and refillable popcorn bucket or 2 of each that are good for refills for the remainder of the year. These refills cost $3 each time you go in. So for $9 for our popcorn and usually $3 for tickets my daughter and I enjoy our day out at the movies. Occasionally I spend the extra $3 and buy her a box of candy. If you are really so cheap then don't buy the concession and just enjoy the movie. I am also a bigger sized woman and I sit comfortable in the seats.

I agree that I love this place! It may need a little renovating here and there, but overall it's a great way to have a cheap and fun date or family night. I think the concessions are reasonably priced, compared to any other theater. When I go to AMC I spend about $40 for two people, whereas here, I spend a fraction of that price. I hope they will be able to keep the business open in the coming years!

OK WAAAA,, Now here is my opinion. Try the concession at the stadium or the Fieldhouse. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EAT THERE ! They have to make some money to keep door prices low .The Pop and the Popcorn is always good .Both GRNW.& WASH. are always safe and friendly The only little suggestion I have is I would like see more Seniors and disabled workers there. Enough of that ,,, I must say I highly recommend seeing The Hobbit & Lincoln on the big screen.. .
